At Rowleth End, we are passionate about food.
Food is to be enjoyed, preferably together with good company. Recipes need not be complex, but quality ingredients are essential. Flavours generally develop through slow and careful cooking.
An evening meal is available every night. On weekdays, we provide home-made soup as a starter, a main course and dessert with local cheeseboard to follow. The cost is £23.00.
On Fridays and Saturdays, we offer a more elaborate home-cooked meal with a set menu (more like a dinner party) with starter, main course, choice of desserts, and a local cheeseboard. The cost is £26.50.
We do not charge extra for water (still or sparkling) during the meal, nor for coffee or tea afterwards.

Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet, with everything you would expect from a "full English", and more. Porridge or kippers on request.
Most guests come down between 8.15 and 8.45; but we are very happy to accommodate earlier risers, and those looking to lie in.
During the winter, Dinner is served every midweek evening at 7.00, and at 7.15 for 7.30 on Fridays & Saturdays.

hour later during the months of BST
(Apr to Oct inclusive).
The dining room has one large table (for 6/8) and two separate tables for 2. Many guests start at the latter and migrate to the former.
Please expect laundered white tablecloths, silver cutlery and candlelight, mixed with plenty of informality. And maybe an open fire too.
The Wine List is carefully chosen to match excellence and individuality with value for money.
The wines come from France, Italy, Germany, Lebanon, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Chile, Argentina, South Africa .....and YORKSHIRE!
The Bar
We sell the usual range of wines, spirits and bottled beers, and an interesting selection of malt whiskys.
During the summmer season, we also offer local draught beers on tap.
