The house is an Art Deco timepiece, lovingly restored by recent owners. Built in the 1920s, its exterior hides sylish features of an earlier age.

The rooms all give out a strong sense of warmth and comfort. The hallway is spacious with an internet terminal thoughtfully provided. The staircase is almost grand (but not out of proportion to the rest of the house)

Downstairs, there is a cozy drawing room with open fire, books, board games and a gramophone player (wind-up, 78s only).

The larger dining room next door seats guests for a substantial buffet breakfast (hot and cold) and four course dinner, with plenty of space and opportunity to linger afterwards.

Zac, the cat, is not allowed into the main rooms, but he does like to snooze on the sofa in the bar / television room
