Room 5 (Frances I'Anson) is the most special bedroom in the house. Large and spacious, it is approached through the ensuite spa bathroom with a double-sized spa bath at one end (champagne bucket and glasses on hand), and a spa shower at the other.

Frances I'Anson,
Sweet Lass of Richmond Hill
Frances I'Anson was christened in Wensley. At the time she was being courted by Leonard McNally, her husband-to-be, she was living with her grandparents at Hill House in Richmond. They were married on January 16, 1787. Leonard McNally wrote the poem in her honour.
